The Ford Taurus is one of the most popular family sedans in the American market. Once the best selling cars of the 90s, the vehicle has gone through many changes in its design, engine options and performance, which has resulted in shaky market share in the last few years. The newer models have been revamped to try and gain some of this market share back.
The 2010 automobile is a large and very comfortable family car with a modern design. The average model has front-wheel drive and the 2010 vehicle engine is 3.5-liter V6 which cranks out 263 hp. However, there is an option to have all wheel drive on most models and some models, such as the high performance SHO model, have this on the base level as well. The 2010 automobile engine for the SHO model has a 3.5-liter V6 which gives a good 365 hp.
The latest model of the Taurus comes in SE, SEL, Limited and SHO trims. The basic kit includes alloy wheels, power accessories, a tilt and telescope steering column, six-speaker stereo and a power driver seat. The 2010 Ford Taurus X engine on the SHO model is twin0supercharged with a sport-tuned suspension as special upholstery.
The model is a big improvement from the 2009 model in everything but engine which remains the same, but is still expected to do well in the market and help gain some popularity back for the brand. Comparison to the 2006 model will however leave buyers very impressed as the 2006 model had a 3.0-liter engine allowing for lower performance levels.

Mondeo Fuel Gauge Broken!?
We have a Ford Mondeo that my partner uses for a taxi.
Last week the car stopped working! Altogether! Turned out that the fuel pump had burned out, and we had to get it replaced.
We got a mechanic out, and he replaced it – car started fine! Woohoo.
Only problem is, the fuel light is on, and the gauge is showing empty, despite the fact that its nearer full.
The mechanic said that the part must have been faulty, so we exchanged it for another one, fitted again, and its still not working!
It worked perfectly fine before the mechanic got his hands on it, but because it’s a taxi, there is no way my partner can just rely on his miles to get him by.
What could be the problem?
Help please asap!
hi there it may be that one or both of the pins in the multi plug that fits onto the head of the pump may be damaged.you would be very unlucky to get 2 faulty parts and if was ok before origional problem that would be your starting point.good luck with it
